Walkera 6CH Helicopter Start Up Tips

For the Walkera 6CH RC Helicopters - eg, Walkera dragonFly No. 22E, No. 35, No. 36, No. 40, No. 45, or No. 39 etc .... If you do not start the rc electric helicopter correctly, your helicopter main rotor will not start to turn (you may still be able to control the servos, but not the main rotor.

Please follow the following steps to start the helicopter

1. Before you connect the battery to the helicopter - IMPORTANT
2. Put 8 AA size batteries into the transmitter, then turn on the transmitter, the light indicator will be "ON" on top of the transmitter
3. Lower the Throttle Control to the very bottom as well as the little trim switch beside the throttle control (as shown in the image below)
4. Flip the 2 silver color switches on the transmitter to the TOP position (upward - as shown in the image below)
5. Now you can connect the battery to the helicopter and then wait for couple seconds.
6. The helicopter is now ready to fly

TRIMMING: If you need to trim the transmitter to make the helicopter flying better, you can use the trim switches beside each control on the transmitter. If you need more trimming, try to adjust the servo arms.

The Transmitter Shown Below is the MODE 2 Transmitter with Throttle on the left hand side. Please check your transmitter, as your ransmitter may NOT be the same as the transmitter shown below - MODE 1 transmitter will be different than Mode 2 transmitter, as Mode 1 transmitter has the right hand side throttle.
